Martial Arts does sometimes involve the risk of injury and as part of the 2010
Junior Instructor's Course we have included a First Aid Section.
One of NWCKB's Senior Instructors , Stuart Tidmas agreed to teach us some vital
first aid skills. Stuart is a fireman with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
Trauma Team. This means he is ideal to teach us the skills he has to put into action on
a daily basis at work.
It proved to be a highly informative and enjoyable day with all course participants
leaving the gym feeling more confident to deal with any training injuries in the future.
