FSK 2010 National Championships
A total of 28 NWCKB fighters participated in this years FSK National Championships winning
a total of 26 Medals. Congratulations to all those who took part.

Easter is early this year so the gradings will start the third week of March.
Check with your Instructor for your club's grading date. Please ensure your licence
is up to date as it will be required.

Beginners Sparring Class
The new Sunday Beginners Sparring Class is proving very popular.It is on every Sunday
so come on down to improve your fighting skills. No need to ask your Instructor-just turn up.

Martial Arts Illustrated
Chief Instructor Chris Boughey is due to feature in Martial Arts Illustrated , the leading
martial arts publication in the next few months so keep an eye out for that.

National Championships.
If you want to represent the association in the upcoming National
Championships then you must attend Squad training and be selected by Rick Allsop.

2nd Degree Blackbelt.
Jane Davenport and Sharon Allsop were successful in achieving their
2nd Degree Black Belts recently.

Black Belt Grade.
To obtain a Black Belt in our Association is a huge achievement. Chris has always
maintained that reaching this goal takes dedication, hard work and above all the
ability to get through a five hour grading.

Southport training camp 2009.
The third NWCKB training camp was held at Southport in September 2009.
All students arrived Friday evening to settle into their accommodation and meet up
with fellow students from across the association for a few drinks in the bar.

Brown Belt Grading.
Eighteen students have been training hard for their Brown Belt Grading
and Saturday 28th November 2009 was the day to see if all their hard work had paid off. more info

New Weapons Class.
By request , a specialist weapons class will be held every three
weeks at Chorlton Gym HQ and will be taught by Chris Boughey.It will start on Sun 17th Jan 2010.more info

New Sparring Class.
A new Weapons class will start
On Sun 24th Jan 2010. Chris would like to point out this is NOT a squad session, it is open to all
grades and abilities. The emphasis will be on breaking down the techniques
and then putting it into practice.more info
