University Clubs affiliated to North West Chinese Kickboxing

September 2010 marks the twentieth year of coaching at the universities of Salford and Manchester for NWCKB. Chief Instructor, Chris Boughey coaches at both university clubs together with his team of black belt Instructors.

When new students arrive to study it can be confusing as to which martial arts class is the correct one for their training needs. NWCKB’s advice would always be – go for the official university clubs. This way you can ensure quality of instruction as the universities hire very experienced Instructors.

Chris Boughey is a 6th Degree Black Belt and England Team Coach for the Worls Kickboxing Council with over 35 years experience of training within the martial arts.

If you train at our NWCKB university club you can expect to cover all aspects of martial arts, fitness, flexibility, kickboxing, kung fu, weapons and more.

So, if you want to keep fit, learn a practical martial art you will be made welcome.

Each club has a student from the university in the role of treasurer and secretary. It’s their job to sort out any problems you may have. There is a strong social element to each university club as making friends and meeting new people is of equal importance to training. Both clubs hold regular social functions to bring the club together away from a sweaty training hall.
