This year eighteen of NWCKB’s finest kickboxers headed to
Spain to the World Kickboxing Championships. Some fighters were very experienced on
the World stage but for some of the group this was their first chance at a World Title.
This was the fourteenth World Kickboxing Championships that Chief Instructor Chris Boughey
had lead The England Team.
NWCKB’s medal tally was impressive with six World Titles 4 silver medals and 9 bronze.
It has to be our best Kickboxing Championships yet.
A special mention must go to the Allsop family with Rick and Sharon both winning Gold and
Daniella, our youngest ever fighter on a NWCKB World Squad, winning Silver.
Well done to all fighters.
